Hello all. Being rather new to the community, I'm sure my absence wasn't too much of a blow (though a girl can dream!) but I did miss you! Let's just say that being on Long Term Disability - or rather - having your Long Term Disability taken away from you - is most certainly not the most awesome experience ever. I am currently battling eviction, car repossession, and waging a legal war with a former unnamed employer [this part, I'm actually looking forward to, as they have no leg to stand on, cannot win, will not win, and most certainly do NOT want to take this to trial as my former insurance company is also the aforementioned former employer. I don't think they want me on the stand.....secrets, secrets.....so many nasty little secrets they have. And did I mention I was a natural redhead - spitfires, we are! So, yeah, busy have I been, indeed But I have to get back to productive outlets for my erm.....angst? Yeah, that'll work. I need catharsis! Art, music, caffeine, and all-consuming obsessions!

Okay, so since it's been a bajillion light years since my last update, I'm still lovin' on the same deviant here. And if she's still game, I'd like to note that she will be featured in my blog in short order - I will post a *lovely feature link and snapshot of the article here* once it's complete!

^ The uber generous deviant `JurgenDoe who created this "Points" journal for a friend, and to help explain what a wonderful opportunity we all have being in a community of artists for artists and how a tiny little gesture like $2 can go so very far. 100 points may sound like a lot, but it's not even a Starbucks coffee!

^ I would also like to extend thanks to deviant `nyssi as I consulted her personal web site for help with the modified CSS portions of this journal. I think you kept me from stabbing myself in the eye. Multiple times.

Finally. I feel like I've been working on this thing forever. And ever. And maybe a little more ever. Nonetheless, I am glad to be done with it. And let me just say, I will always be an HTML at heart. I am so not in love with CSS; not even a little bit. But I suppose we all have to grow up sometime [I'm totally singing the Toys R' Us song in my head right now.] [Now you are, too.] [Don't deny it.] Moving on, I had planned on this uber-entry for my grand entrance, but alas, my brain is swimming in what feels like jello and there are three screens in front of me. Which would be righteous...if I had three screens. So I will simply say hello, and goodbye, for now. But I assure you; you will hear from me again soon, often, and it will most likely be a rambling and delirium-fueled concoction filled with run-on sentences [because I can! and I shake my fists at my high school English teacher!] with enough humor to make you smile and hopefully some information here and there, too. Cause, you know, I'm not just a pretty face *ahem*..

Oh I could go on and on, but I suppose I can only feature so many at once [so not satisfying!] Such is life! For now, these are the images that make me want to lick my screen.
